My Mechanical Keyboard Hobby: The Artisans

What are artisan keycaps?

If normal keycaps are flat, rectangular, and boring, then artisan keycaps are the complete opposite: unique, handmade, colorful, funnily-shaped pieces of mechanical keyboard art. Artisans are typically defined by two traits: their sculpt (shape), and their colorway (color).

Because artisans are so hard to make,

and demand is so high, aftermarket prices can be many times more than retail price. I once sold a $75 cap for $500 aftermarket. That's a 550+% return. I love collecting artisans, but selling them (for a profit) is just as fun.

Guess what my favorite color is?
Actually, it's red, but blue and purple are my favorites when it comes to artisans.
